Would I make further purchases for my hobby if the item suited my needs Yes, I am very pleased with both items
It needs more information and instructions -- I can't find an explanation of why there are three different blades, and what they should be used for..l Also I had to swap spring-magnet-spring to spring-spring-magnet in the cutter holderso that I could back off the blade to lift it above the material to be cut. No explanation of whether I should have to do that, or why.
Also I bought as a set with the locator, but the locator is innacurately calibrated. The centre of the circle cut is consistently 1mm off-centre. Too close to the corner. Not happy about that.
Otherwise a great cutter.
Well made and in striking red I put the cutter and guide to work the day of arrival. perfectly precise cutting for roundel masks using the locator. Such a huge upgrade from my compass cutter.
Dspeai stuff is awsome. Pricey, yes but top quality. I’ll not be buying any more ‘cause I’ve got almost everything!

It's great
Very useful tool, especially with the improved cutting tool holder which improves precision. Cuts masks and discs from paper, thin card and plastic. Very happy with the MT-C.
Excellent product, but would have liked a more comprehensive information on the contents and its functions.
Works great to make marsk circles
After having watched a bunch of stirring YouTube reviews I really wanted to love this tool, but after encountering the following issues I was bitterly disappointed and had to return it for a refund.
Excessive Stiffness:
The tool is extremely stiff to turn, which makes repeated circle cutting difficult and uncomfortable. Even after removing the bearing from the housing, I found the rotation remained quite resistant.
Off-Center Cuts (Locator Tool):
The Locator Tool positions the cutter off-center by roughly 0.75 mm, making precise cuts impossible. This has the most significant impact on the tool’s functionality.
Blade Protrusion:
The blade extends too far from the unit, causing scratches on the workpiece before the cut even starts. I managed a small improvement by adjusting the springs and magnet, but it remains problematic.
Weak Magnet Hold:
The blade’s magnet does not hold the blade firmly enough, causing it to detach frequently.
Lateral Play in the Tool Holder:
There is about 0.5 mm of lateral play, which can result in cutting diameters being off by up to 1 mm. This margin of error is significant for precision work.
Blade Availability and Cost:
I hoped to use my existing vinyl cutter blades, but they do not fit. The official replacement blades are not only less accessible but also comparatively expensive.

Quality material and workmanship. Works well.
